Obtaining Real-time Data from

 the WCC Radio Observatory

You can monitor the high frequency  radio signals being received at our observatory in three ways:

Streaming Audio

You can listen to our signal using streaming audio and Windows Media PlayerŽ version 6.4 or higher. A fast internet connection is preferable for this type of monitoring.  Click here for Streaming Audio Instructions.

or if you have Media Player installed just click here :

Stripchart Data

You can view a strip chart by connecting to our strip chart server using Radio-SkyPipe software. This type of monitoring is especially suited for lower speed internet connections. While you will not be able to hear the signal, you will see an instant indication of the signals strength which can be compared to your own observations. Click here for Stripchart Instructions.

Our most recent strip chart images and data can be seen here.

Spectrograph Data

View the entire 18 to 28 Mhz Spectrum in real time using this free downloadable software.

Our most recent spectrograph chart images can be seen here.
